Jacomijntje was baptized on 25 March 1673 in the Reformed Dutch Church of New Amsterdam (New York), recorded as the child of Johannes Van Couwenhoven and Sara.^[1][2] Her father was Johannes van Couwenhoven and her mother was Sara Frans.
